Construction of New Transformer Foundation (610 × 610 cm)

This scope covers the construction of a new reinforced cement concrete (RCC) foundation with dimensions 610 cm × 610 cm, designed to support a power transformer. The foundation is engineered to handle static and dynamic loads, vibrations, and environmental conditions, ensuring long-term structural integrity and safety.

Scope of Work Includes:

• Site Preparation:

  • Clearing and leveling of the designated area

  • Excavation to the required depth based on soil conditions and structural design

  • Disposal of excavated material to an approved location

• Reinforcement and Formwork:

  • Placement of steel reinforcement as per approved structural drawings

  • Installation of shuttering/formwork to defined dimensions and alignment

  • Provision for construction joints and sleeves, if required

• Concrete Works:

  • Supply and casting of concrete using minimum M25 grade (or as specified)

  • Proper compaction and vibration to ensure uniform strength and avoid honeycombing

  • Provision of embedded items such as anchor bolts, earthing connections, and cable entry sleeves

• Finishing and Curing:

  • Surface finishing as per required slope or flatness tolerance

  • Curing of concrete for the specified duration using approved methods

• Quality Assurance:

  • Concrete testing (slump test, cube strength test)

  • Dimensional and alignment checks post-casting

All construction activities will conform to applicable local authority regulations and project specifications, ensuring the foundation is structurally sound and ready for transformer installation.
